8515B Sr Procurement Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities, prepare bid packages, conduct pre-bid meetings and site visits, and evaluate bids.
• Negotiate terms and issue contracts, amendments, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Settle supplier claims and back-charges, with guidance as needed.
• Improve processes, manage client relationships, communicate contractual commitments, and represent PSEG externally.
• Analyze spend and vendor proposals, document decisions, and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant procurement or business experience; alternatively, at least 10 years of procurement experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Utility-industry experience is preferred.
• Requires analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Requires intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency, Microsoft Office proficiency, and experience with procurement systems, sourcing tools, RFx documents, and contract negotiation.
• A valid driver’s license and safe driving history are required for work travel.

Work arrangement

• The position is categorized as hybrid, with at least three onsite days per week.

Compensation

• The listed salary range is $93,600 to $148,200 per year.
