Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance React UI components using workflows such as Redux, Flux, and Webpack.
• Translate designs and wireframes into responsive, cross-platform code and optimize performance across devices and browsers.
• Write clean, scalable code for frontend and integration activities.
• Implement Jest automation tests for UI components and interactions.
• Contribute throughout the SDLC, from concept to deployment and support.
• Debug issues and manage their resolution, documentation, and follow-up through bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with product managers to turn user needs and use cases into technical solutions.
• Integrate frontend applications with server-side logic through RESTful APIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of frontend development experience, especially with React and UI development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery, including asynchronous requests, partial page updates, and AJAX.
• Experience with Babel, Webpack, NPM, Git, Jest or similar testing frameworks, bug tracking, and code optimization.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Mocha or Jasmine is preferred.
• Knowledge of React Native is a plus.
• Collaborative team experience interfacing with product managers and backend teams is preferred.
