Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site 3D Event Designer role based in Abu Dhabi.
The 3D Event Designer will create detailed 3D concepts, renderings, and layouts for luxury events, translating client requirements and creative briefs into immersive visual experiences.
Day-to-day tasks include developing stage designs, floor plans, décor concepts, and environmental graphics, as well as preparing presentations and mood boards for client approvals.
The role involves collaborating closely with event planners, production teams, vendors, and sales colleagues to ensure feasibility, accurate measurements, and alignment with budgets and timelines.
The designer will also refine concepts based on feedback, support on-site execution by providing technical drawings, and maintain an organized library of design assets and references.
Qualifications
- Strong event design skills, including 3D event designing, spatial planning, and visual storytelling for luxury or high-profile events.
- Experience in event planning and event management, with the ability to translate creative ideas into practical, executable setups.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and vendors, including clear presentation of design concepts.
- Sales-oriented mindset, with the ability to support proposals and pitches through compelling design visuals and presentations.
- Proficiency in 3D design and visualization software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, or similar) and Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent tools.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in events, interior design, exhibition design, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and support occasional evening or weekend events as required.
