Role overview

Responsibilities

• Create basic props, simple characters, and environment pieces under guidance.
• Assist with texturing and UV unwrapping; support particle effects and simple shaders in Blender.
• Learn and apply basic rigging and animation for simple objects and characters.
• Use AI-assisted texture-generation and retopology tools while building manual skills.
• Prepare and export assets for Unreal Engine and, if applicable, Unity.
• Incorporate feedback from senior artists and developers and handle small asset requests for the game development pipeline.

Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of Blender for modeling, texturing, and UV unwrapping.
• Basic understanding of how 3D assets are used in game engines.
• Willingness to learn VFX and animation on the job, and comfort experimenting with AI art tools while building manual fundamentals.
• Portfolio or personal projects showing Blender work; student and personal projects are accepted.

Good to have

• Exposure to Unreal Engine, including import/export or basic material setup.
• Unity familiarity is optional and not mandatory.
• Exposure to AI tools in art pipelines and basic understanding of PBR texturing concepts are advantageous.

Pay

• Pay is ₹200,000–₹300,000 per year.
