Role Description
This full-time 3D Designer role at Fancy Events is an on-site position based in Doha, Qatar.
The 3D Designer will create and develop 3D concepts and visualizations for events, including stages, booths, installations, and spatial layouts, aligned with client briefs and brand guidelines.
The role involves producing detailed 3D models, renders, and mockups for client presentations, collaborating closely with event planners, production teams, and graphic designers to ensure feasibility and aesthetic consistency.
The 3D Designer will refine designs based on feedback, prepare production-ready files and technical specifications, and work with vendors to translate designs into physical builds.
The position also includes researching design trends, materials, and technologies to keep event concepts fresh, practical, and visually impactful.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in 3D Design and 3D Modeling, with the ability to produce realistic event environments and structures.
- Knowledge of Lighting and its application in 3D visualizations to enhance atmosphere, mood, and event impact.
- Graphic Design skills to create cohesive visual identities, event branding elements, and supporting 2D materials.
- Experience with Animation for basic motion visuals, walkthroughs, or dynamic event presentations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D and design software (e.g., 3ds Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, Blender, Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Proven experience in event, exhibition, retail, or interior 3D design, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Ability to interpret briefs, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in 3D Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
