Technical Duties: Operate, set-up, and trouble shoot flexographic printing presses and auxiliary equipment, all in accordance with production standards and productivity goals. Including: utilization of product specs (copy card), changing plates, cylinders, and dies.

Maintain machines by performing basic maintenance including lubricants, replace minor parts, and requests major maintenance when necessary.

Maintain work area utilizing 5S methods.

Report machine and equipment malfunctions immediately to the group leader, maintenance and/or supervisor.

Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.

Cross-train and work multiple press lines and equipment as needed.

Quality Control: Follow all quality inspection plans. This involves measuring, checking, and testing various processes and product parameters. Meet established goals for material scrap and yield.

Collaboration: Collaborate with all plant leadership and departments such as engineering, procurement, customer service, and logistics to coordinate production activities, address technical issues, standardize processes, and optimize supply chain processes.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Support all continuous improvement initiatives as required via participation and or implementation.

Health and Safety Compliance: Operate machines in a safe, efficient manner in accordance with established rules and regulations. Follow and comply with health and safety regulations. Report any unsafe condition(s), injury, or accident immediately to immediate supervisor or other member of management. Provide improvement suggestions as needed.
