About the Role
AEOS is hiring a 2D Animator and Motion Graphics Artist for its creative team.
The role covers animation and visual design across illustrations, characters, graphics, videos, social media, presentations, campaigns, and digital content.
The position is hands-on and involves taking concepts from rough ideas or storyboards through polished final animations.
Responsibilities
- Create 2D animations, motion graphics, character animations, and animated illustrations.
- Translate storyboards, concepts, scripts, and creative direction into animated sequences.
- Design and animate graphics for videos, social media, presentations, campaigns, and digital content.
- Create expressive character and object animation with strong timing and posing.
- Work with composition, typography, transitions, effects, and visual storytelling.
- Collaborate with directors, designers, illustrators, and the creative team.
- Own projects from initial concept through final delivery.
- Organize assets and project files and maintain consistent visual and technical quality.
- Experiment with new animation techniques, workflows, and AI-assisted creative tools.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of 2D animation principles, including timing, spacing, anticipation, squash and stretch, weight, and acting.
- Strong visual sense and understanding of composition, colour, typography, and movement.
- Proficiency in one or more relevant tools, including After Effects, Adobe Animate, Photoshop, Illustrator, Toon Boom Harmony, Blender, or similar software.
- Ability to work from storyboards and creative briefs and develop animation solutions independently.
- Good understanding of motion graphics and visual storytelling.
- A strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating animation and motion design skills.
- Ability to work within deadlines and iterate based on creative feedback.
Nice to Have
- Character animation experience.
- Frame-by-frame or traditional 2D animation experience.
- Compositing and visual effects experience.
- Basic understanding of 3D animation or Blender.
- Experience creating content for film, advertising, games, music videos, or digital media.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted animation and creative workflows.
- Illustration or concept art skills.
- Strong storytelling and cinematography instincts.
Compensation
- Salary is ₹30,000–₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and portfolio.
