27-28 Leadership Intern Program - Elementary & Middle School

The Columbus City School District is accepting applications for its 2027-2028 Leadership Intern Program for administrative training at the ELEMENTARY & MIDDLE SCHOOL level. Participants in the Leadership Intern Program are mentored in the daily operations of a school building by a current building principal, attend regular professional development sessions throughout the school year, and perform other related tasks as assigned.

Consideration for acceptance into the program will be contingent upon fulfillment of the following requirements:

Completion of a Master's Degree program in an educational field (school administration preferred).

Must be in a position to secure a valid Ohio Principal License by June 2028.

Five (5) or more years of successful teaching experience in a K-12 environment.

Highly skilled in the areas of human relations, instructional leadership, community relations, written and oral communications.

In addition to the teacher's regular contract salary, a supplemental contract is provided based upon assignment level.
