Internship Overview

Work Details

• Travel is expected at approximately 10% of the time.
• Relocation assistance may be available.
• No clearance is required to start, but the selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems analyses across concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis.
• Convert customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that account for technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications

• Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university and remain enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
• Be pursuing a STEM degree.
• Be available to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and required program special access.
• Be a U.S. citizen as required for the clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.

Intern Pay

• Bachelor's interns are paid $23 to $28 per hour.
• Master's interns are paid $32.75 to $34.50 per hour.
• The stated primary salary range is $23.00 to $34.50 per hour.
