Internship overview

What you'll do

• Work on real-time, high-impact data science and AI projects.
• Build and apply analytical frameworks, machine learning models, and AI pipelines to inform decisions.
• Experiment with approaches for demand forecasting, pricing optimization, supply-demand modeling, and rider and driver segmentation.
• Develop marketplace insights and communicate actionable recommendations to Operations, Marketplace, and Data Science stakeholders.

Basic qualifications

• Be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Be available to start February 1, 2027, and work full time for 3–6 months.
• Have UAE work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Be able to join a full-time role shortly after the internship if an opportunity opens.

Required skills and experience

• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large-scale datasets.
• Hands-on Python experience with data wrangling, statistical analysis, and model development.
• Experience training and evaluating machine learning models, including classification, regression, clustering, and forecasting.
• A portfolio of impactful AI or data science projects demonstrating end-to-end work from problem framing to model deployment.

Preferred capabilities

• Communication, planning and organization, structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, and teamwork are preferred.
