1st shift Corrugating Double Backer

Position Title: 1 st shift Double Backer

Pay Rate: $24.50

Hourly Full-Time / 1st shift: 7am – 3pm

• following all safety rules and procedures;
• operating the glue machine and double backer to produce high quality and high quantity output;
• preparing double backer liner rolls and splices;
• adjusting double backer liner roll stand and preheater settings;
• lining up single face and double back webs;
• checking and adjusting glue machine starch settings;
• making special set ups for reinforcement tapes or strings;
• helping the singlefacer operator;
• helping on other parts of the corrugator when the machine is down;
• preparing down (butt) rolls for storage and identifying these rolls with tags and/or writing;
• maintaining clean and organized work areas;
• cleaning the glue machine and doublebacker;
• completing accurate records; and
• performing other duties as assigned by supervision.
