Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with diverse groups.
- Ability to oversee construction activities for multiple projects of varying complexity as Engineer-in-Responsible-Charge.
- Degree in Construction, Engineering or related field.
- Experience applying federal, state and local transportation rules, regulations, policies and practices.
- Experience applying roadway engineering design and state and federal standards related to highway design and construction.
- Experience in preliminary engineering and construction activities.
- Knowledge of strategic, operational and financial management principles, practices and techniques.
- Skill in the use of computers and software applications to include engineering software.
- Valid Professional Engineer's license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Additional Considerations:
- Progressively responsible experience in the construction industry. Experience managing total operation of projects with significant value.
- Progressively responsible experience managing complex projects in the transportation engineering and construction industry.
