Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of personal and sensitive information.
- Ability to process, review, analyze, interpret, and create payroll, financial data and reports.
- Ability to supervise and train others.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, work well under deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Knowledge of payroll processes and federal, state and agency regulations that govern them.
- Skill in the use of computers and software applications to include automated payroll and accounting systems.
- Additional Considerations:
- A combination of training, experience, or education in Accounting or related field desired.
- CPA or CPP certified.
- Cardinal experience desired.
- Cardinal experience.
- Public sector accounting experience using automated payroll and accounting systems.
- Supervisory experience over accounting functions.
