About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a Senior OutSystems Developer / Architect with deep expertise in OutSystems and .NET technologies to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade applications.
This role requires strong technical leadership, architecture experience, and the ability to drive end-to-end development across complex digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of applications using the OutSystems platform (Reactive/Web/Mobile)
- Define technical solutions, architecture patterns, and best practices for scalable and secure applications
- Develop and oversee backend services using .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core
- Drive integration strategies with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, microservices, and middleware
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, including code reviews, mentoring, and governance
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Ensure performance optimization, scalability, security, and maintainability of applications
- Lead DevOps practices including CI/CD, release management, and deployment strategies
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide production support when required
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of overall software development experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in OutSystems development
- Strong expertise in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
- Proven experience in solution architecture and system design
- Extensive experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP), microservices, and enterprise integrations
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database design
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models
- Prior experience in leading teams or managing technical delivery
Preferred Qualifications
- OutSystems certifications (Professional, Expert, or Architect level preferred)
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or government projects
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Experience with containerization and modern architecture patterns
- Knowledge of security standards and enterprise compliance
