About This Role
Overview
- The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing general accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting audits.
- This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple financial processes efficiently
- Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
- Manage general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and company policies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Monitor and improve accounting systems and internal controls
- Supervise junior accounting staff (if applicable)
- Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
