Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, screen, and organize investment proposals across multiple sectors.
• Analyze business models, financial statements, valuation reports, and market data to support investment evaluation and decision-making.
• Prepare investment teasers, pitch decks, financial summaries, and detailed investment memoranda for investors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external vendors such as Chartered Accountants, valuers, merchant bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and database providers for due diligence and documentation processes.
• Liaise with promoters/owners to obtain business, financial, operational, and compliance-related information.
• Schedule and coordinate one-to-one meetings and video calls between promoter teams and investors, while maintaining meeting calendars, MOMs (Minutes of Meeting), follow-ups, and progress updates.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with promoters, investors, and consultants to ensure smooth communication and regular updates.
• Maintain an organized database of proposals, financial records, investor communications, contacts, and deal progress.
• Support senior team members in deal execution, investor communication, research activities, and financial documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant work experience in investment research, financial analysis, business consulting, audit support, or related fields.
• Exposure to working with Chartered Accountants, auditors, compliance professionals, and financial consultants is an added advantage.
• CFA, CA Inter, MBA Finance, or other financial certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts, compliance documentation, and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, PowerPoint presentations, and research tools such as Bloomberg or similar platforms.
• Exceptional analytical and documentation skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to interact with investors, promoters, consultants, and advisory teams.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English; additional language proficiency will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and passion for financial markets and investment research.
