What awaits you
As the Process Technology Unit Sales Manager, based in Africa, you will be responsible for driving sustainable sales growth of Krones Process Technology (PT) Units portfolio across the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region.
Working in close collaboration with Field Sales, BPE project teams, and PT Sales organizations, the position supports the development of customer‑specific, stand‑alone and integrated PT unit solutions, while strengthening the market presence, visibility, and long‑term footprint of Krones across key MEA markets.
Your Responsibilities
- Drive order intake targets for the Process Technology (PT) Units business across the MEA region, in collaboration with regional field sales teams in line with defined commercial objectives.
- Represent and commercially manage the complete PT Units portfolio with a focus on stand-alone projects. Drive the growth of stand‑alone PT units with particular emphasis on water treatment systems, thermal product treatment units, and high‑viscosity food solutions (Perfinox).
- Provide active sales and technical-commercial support to Field Sales and BPE project teams for integrated PT unit solutions, ensuring early PT involvement and optimized solution positioning.
- Strengthen and further expand the existing customer base, jointly developing customer relationships alongside Field Sales, while ensuring long-term account development and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with customers to develop tailor‑made, application‑specific solutions, while systematically reviewing, optimizing, and challenging existing Krones solutions to ensure technical excellence and commercial competitiveness.
- Continuously optimize and further develop the PT units solution offering, particularly within water treatment, through close cooperation with technical and engineering teams in UAE and NTR.
- Support Field Sales and PT Sales organizations in enhancing Krones market visibility and positioning for thermal product treatment units, with a targeted focus on local and regional dairy champions.
- Strategically build and develop the high‑viscosity and liquid food segment, leveraging the Perfinox product range to establish Krones as a recognized solution provider in this emerging market area.
- Establish, manage, and strengthen a robust PT partner and sales network, working with strategic sales partners to expand market coverage and execution capability across MEA.
- Contribute to the definition and execution of order intake targets and a structured market development plan, supporting sustainable growth of the PT Units business in the region.
Your Profile
- You contribute
- Minimum of 8-10 years of technical sales experience, preferably in beverage, dairy, liquid food, or industrial processing equipment, including PT Units such as water treatment and thermal processing systems.
- Completed undergraduate degree in Business/Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- >60% travel required.
- highly proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strategic thinking.
- Strong customer-orientation with experience developing tailor-made unit solutions for regional markets across MEA.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to structure complex deals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hands-on experience with CRM systems.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
