We are currently expanding our team for several upcoming projects and are looking for an experienced
Interior Fit-Out & Joinery Site Engineer / Supervisor
who can independently manage multiple sites while ensuring smooth coordination between Civil, MEP, Joinery, Procurement, and Installation teams.
Role Description
This is a
full-time, on-site role
based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for an Interior Fit-Out & Joinery Site Supervisor/Engineer.
The role involves managing on-site activities, overseeing project execution, and ensuring all fit-out and joinery projects meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements.
Key responsibilities
include supervising workforce and subcontractors, conducting site inspections, interpreting technical drawings, coordinating with multiple teams, Handling site challenges, and ensuring adherence to project specifications.
The role requires leadership and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and supervise day-to-day site activities across multiple projects.
- Coordinate all fit-out works including civil finishes, joinery installations, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, furniture installation, and MEP services.
- Review drawings, identify potential site challenges in advance, and develop practical execution strategies.
- Ensure proper coordination between site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
- Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, material requirements, and site productivity.
- Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Manage project timelines and proactively resolve site issues before they impact progress.
- Prepare progress reports, snag lists, and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Interior Fit-Out and Joinery projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out works, joinery manufacturing and installation, MEP coordination, and civil finishing works.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, joinery, and MEP drawings.
- Excellent project planning, site management, and labour management skills.
- Good understanding of fit-out materials, joinery materials, finishing materials, and MEP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
