Overview
Hays is partnering with a trading organisation to appoint an experienced Head of Finance to lead the company’s financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operational finance functions.
This senior leadership role requires a commercially minded finance professional who can drive financial performance, support business growth, and ensure regulatory compliance in a fast paced trading environment.
Role Overview
As Head of Finance, you will oversee the company’s financial strategy and day to day finance operations.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide strategic insights, strengthen financial governance, and support business expansion and decision making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Implement financial controls, policies, and risk management frameworks
- Provide strategic financial insights to executive management
- Drive cost optimisation and profitability improvements
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external partners
- Lead and develop the finance team
- Support business growth, investments, and expansion initiatives
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of finance leadership experience
- Russian speaker preferred
- Strong expertise in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and governance
- Previous experience in a Head of Finance, CFO, or senior finance leadership role preferred
- Knowledge of ERP systems and financial platforms
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent certification is an advantage
