Finance Manager

Overview

• Supervise and manage the accounting department and ensure that all accounting reports are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and applicable financial regulations.
• Ensure that all company policies, procedures, and internal controls are properly implemented, maintained, and monitored across all financial activities.
• Review and verify the accuracy, consistency, and propriety of supporting documents for all claims, payments, invoices, reimbursements, and other accounting transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company guidelines.
• Analyze financial data and ensure appropriate and adequate controls in the preparation of financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Develop, implement, and improve procedures for handling accounting and financial activities, including payroll processing, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, posting of expenditures and revenues, and other related functions to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable IFRS standards, UAE regulations, tax requirements, and company financial policies.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, government authorities, and other external parties and provide all required information and documentation in compliance with company regulations and statutory requirements.
• Monitor and maintain awareness of the company’s bank status, cash flow, and financial position at all times and immediately notify management of any discrepancies, risks, or non-compliance issues.
• Prepare and submit timely financial reports, management reports, forecasts, and analyses and immediately report any factors that may affect the financial stability or operations of the company.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities and ensure all records are properly maintained and documented.
• Assist management in budget preparation, financial planning, cost control, and strategic decision-making processes.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of all financial records, company data, and sensitive information.
• Provide guidance, training, and supervision to accounting personnel to ensure productivity, compliance, and professional development within the department.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management related to finance, accounting, and administrative operations.
• Report directly to the General Manager regarding the above responsibilities and authorities.
