About This Role
Overview
Our client is looking for a highly efficient and detail-oriented Estimator to join their growing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings, understanding project scopes, and delivering rapid and accurate quotations for luxury architectural projects and tender inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for direct clients and large-scale tender inquiries.
- Ensure rapid turnaround times on all pricing requests to maintain a competitive edge.
- Coordinate directly with clients to clarify project details, address doubts, and confirm technical requirements.
- Work closely with the internal Designer/Draftsman to accurately define the scope of work based on provided drawings.
- Proactively learn and understand complex architectural glass and aluminum technical specifications.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date quotation files and records.
- Maintain clear, professional, and consistent communication with both the internal team and external clients.
Required skills & Qualifications
- AutoCAD Proficiency: Must have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD to read, measure, and extract data from architectural drawings.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for precise cost calculations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet quotation deadlines.
