Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and passionate
Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP) – Indian Cuisine
to join our kitchen team.
The ideal candidate will support the Chef de Partie in preparing high-quality Indian dishes while ensuring consistency, hygiene, and efficiency in a high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of authentic Indian dishes.
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation as per company standards
- Support daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and service execution
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety (HACCP compliance)
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control and waste reduction
- Follow standardized recipes and contribute to menu improvements when required
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth workflow.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DCDP or Commis in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, cooking techniques, and regional dishes
- Experience in bulk cooking or meal plan/central kitchen operations is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
