About This Role
Overview
A well-established company is looking to hire a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join its growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and financial transactions
- Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial reports including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets
- Monitor financial performance against approved budgets
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with regulations
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts and follow up on outstanding balances
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and applicable legislation

Preferred Background
Previous experience in the Construction and/or Real Estate Development sector will be considered an added advantage.
