About This Role
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accountant who can independently handle day-to-day accounting operations, VAT returns, financial reporting, client accounts, and UAE compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, taxation, auditing procedures, and experience dealing with multiple clients and company accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
- Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
- Monitor company expenses, budgets, and cash flow
- Handle payroll and employee-related financial records when required
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial laws and regulations
- Support accounting operations for multiple clients and business activities
- Prepare invoices, quotations, and financial statements
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA procedures
- Familiarity with UAE auditing requirements and financial compliance
- Experience handling multiple company accounts/clients
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or ERP systems
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- English communication skills required; Arabic is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in accounting firms or handling outsourced accounting services
- Knowledge of corporate tax regulations in the UAE
- Experience with financial audits and compliance documentation
