About This Role
Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations across our holiday homes (short-term rentals) and real estate portfolio (long-term rentals).
Role Overview
As an Accountant, you will handle end-to-end financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and transparency across all properties.
This role is key in supporting both our short-term rental operations and long-term leasing business.
Financial Operations
Maintain accurate financial records for holiday homes and long-term rental properties
Track rental income, expenses, and profitability per unit
Manage accounts payable & receivable
Reconciliation & Reporting
Reconcile payments from Airbnb, Booking.com, and other platforms
Monitor rental collections, deposits, and lease payments
Prepare monthly financial reports and performance summaries
Owner & Client Accounting
Generate monthly owner statements and payout reports
Track commissions, management fees, and service charges
Ensure timely disbursement of landlord earnings
Compliance & VAT
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and real estate regulations
Prepare VAT filings and support audits
Maintain proper financial documentation and records
Budgeting & Analysis
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Analyze revenue trends and recommend cost optimizations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1 year of accounting experience (real estate or holiday homes preferred)
Previous Experience will be checked
Strong knowledge of accounting systems (QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar)
Experience
with property management systems (PMS) is a plus
Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
